The Solemn Changing of the Honorary Post is a symbolic assumption of the perpetual soldiers' guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw, which takes place every Sunday at 12.00 in Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square. The guard service in the most important place of national remembrance, and remembrance of the heroic military deeds of Polish soldiers, is of immeasurable value. It is undoubtedly a token of gratitude to those who died in the fight for their Homeland. It is performed in accordance with the rules governing the guard service, with changes in the post 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, a special character is given by the ceremonial setting only during the Sunday change.
