The Library is an integral part of the university. Its core activity is to support scientific and didactic staff and students of the university in their scholarly and academic work by providing solid grounds for their efforts. The library also constitutes the scientific information resource center. The policy of developing library resources is consistent with the area of study offered
by the university. The thematic profile of the gathered resources comprises: technical sciences in general, aerospace technology, navigation, air traffic management, the armed forces and related areas strictly connected with courses provided by the university.
A modern library is not only represented by its resources, its users, modern library tools such as computer library systems, its staff and premises but also an automated scientific information center equipped with modern information carriers and technological tools enabling access to the newest world literature. The scope of gathering collections is various and includes: compact prints, continuous prints and special collections.
Today, the library comprises about 200,000 books and 85  magazine titles including 16 foreign press titles which MUA currently subscribes.
The items of collections can be provided on loan or accessible to readers  in the reading room.
