General informationHOW TO CHOOSE THE COURSES FROM THE OFFER ?
- for each field of studies there is prepared a set of subject that can be selected – Core Module and Specialized Module;
- it is not allowed to combine and choose courses from different fields of study;
- it is possible to expand the Core Module and Specialized Module by adding courses from the General Courses if needed;
- Polish language and culture course (30 hours = 0 ECTS) is obligatory for each chosen Module. The course credit will be obtained on the basis of the student’s attendance during the classes;
- it is possible to change any course chosen from the General Courses to Polish language and culture course (60 hours = 2 ECTS) if needed;
- there is also the possibility of preparing a Diploma Project (15 ECTS) at the MUA. In case of being interested in, please, contact directly the MUA Erasmus+ Faculty Coordinator or Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator who will provide you with the Polish Air Force University tutor/supervisor/mentor supporting you later during the project preparation;

The graduate of the first-cycle studies obtains a university degree and professional qualifications to perform a function in the air transport related institutions and its services. Moreover, the graduate will have a theoretical background to work in research teams related to aviation, land, maritime and air traffic. The navigation graduate receives the title of the engineer. A graduate of the first-cycle studies in the field of airport infrastructure has extensive knowledge of the theoretical foundations of navigation and radio navigation, the construction, and operation of airport infrastructure and the ability to operate radio navigation equipment and systems, especially those which serve as aerodrome equipment. General Education DepartmentGeneral Education Department Course Catalog for Academic Year 2021/2022The General Education Department is an independent organizational unit at the Polish Air Force University. There are two laboratories within the Department: Polish and World History Section and the Applied Sciences Section.Polish and World History SectionThe section undertakes research projects on social, economic and political issues of the 19th and 20th centuries. Additionally, the section’s staff are involved in conducting history classes for students of all courses available at the university.Applied Sciences SectionThe Section of Applied Sciences includes two subject area teams whose work covers issues concerning mathematics and statistics as well as broadly understood physics. As ragards teaching, classes are conducted for both military and civilian students of all faculties and courses available. The lecturers specialize in mathematics, physics, general mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics and thermodynamics. The teaching base includes Integrated Laboratory of Physics, Mechanics and Thermodynamics, Laboratory of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Laboratory of Statistical Analysis and Mathematical Modelling.
