Military University of Technology is a scientific entity whose advantage is the ability to conduct comprehensive research projects in the fields recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as strategic for the development of science, including studies and preparation of systems and equipment development forecasts, technical advice on formulating trends in the development of modern technologies, expert opinions, scientific opinions and qualification studies. The results of WAT research work can be widely used in technological processes, environmental protection, medicine and industry.

Researchers of the Military University of Technology participate in numerous international research projects carried out under the Horizon 2020 programme, the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO), the European Defence Agency (EDA), the Polish-Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the Structural Funds.
