    The results achieved in the abovementioned areas find their use mostly in the department’s research and development projects carried out for national defence and security. Among others, within the Faculty of Cybernetics there is an accredited Cryptography Research Laboratory specialized in cryptographic algorithms and systems. In addition, the department conducts the training programme under the auspices of Cisco Networking Academy.

    Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory is located in the Faculty of Electronics. It fulfills the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 and have Accreditation Certificate of Polish Centre for Accreditation (No. AB 693) in the field of EMC and techniques antenna and the Certificate of Accreditation in the field of Defence and Security (No. 28/MON/2014). This laboratory is equipped with an anechoic chamber and a measuring device operating in the frequency range from 10 kHz to 20 GHz.

    The part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the research laboratory accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (certificate number No. AB 733) dedicated to such research areas like: investigations of vehicles under different climatic conditions, testing of engine combustion processes, investigation of vehicle dynamics and tribological liquids.

    • new explosives – technology, analysis, characterization of properties and the modelling of explosive phenomena
