The WAT expert comments

As emphasized by dr hab. inż. Ryszard Wozniak, prof. Military University of Technology from the Institute of Armament Technology of the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armament and Aviation, co-author of the projects of the implemented weapons, signing of documents for the delivery of another 88,000 MSBS GROT fills with satisfaction both the creators of weapons from the Military University of Technology and Fabryka Broni "Łucznik"- Radom, as well as Polish soldiers who need it.

As assured by prof. Woźniak, further joint studies of the Military University of Technology and the factory in Radom are almost ready for implementation. This is the MSBS-5.56K and the MSBS-5.56B in the buttstock system - the effects of the development project entitled RAWAT, co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development. “The weapon has already passed the qualification tests with a positive result and is almost ready for implementation. The measurable results of the practical cooperation between the Military University of Technology and the Fabryka Broni in the field of modern small arms construction - confirmed by the introduction of the Polish MSBS-5.56R to many representative (ceremonial) formations in 2016 - prove that the alliance between science and industry and industry with science can bring many benefits, especially for the Polish Army" - emphasizes the expert.
