The missile system operators will be trained in the new laboratories of the Military University of Technology

The building, equipped with laboratories for new generation air defense missile sets, was handed over to the Institute of Rocket Technology and Mechatronics at the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armaments and Aviation of the Military University of Technology. The laboratories will be used to train staff, incl. for the Wisła program.
The expansion and modernization of the infrastructure of the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armaments and Aviation of the Military University of Technology is related to the involvement of our university in the process of implementing the Wisła air defense system to the Polish Armed Forces. The Military University of Technology educates and trains staff for the needs of this program. The laboratory base of the newly commissioned building will be used by soldiers preparing to operate the new generation missile sets.

The official building handover ceremony was held on October 28, 2021 with the participation of university authorities, representatives of the Ministry of National Defense, as well as domestic and foreign industry, including Raytheon Missiles & Defense, Lockheed Martin Global, Inc. and Northrop Grumman Global Services.
