Logistics is a course of study combining the achievements and tradition of education in logistics security with the current requirements and needs of trained specialists in  logistics for the needs of the demanding and rapidly changing labour market of the military and civilian environment.

Logistics studies are intended for candidates who wish to obtain knowledge, skills and qualifications required to work in various areas of logistics.

The studies do not only develop the engineering skills but also allow to gain the required social competences useful while working in the structures of the armed forces, commercial organizations, public and social institutions.

The conducted course of study provides the opportunity to obtain reliable knowledge about modern logistics systems, their technique and technology as well as the main areas of their practical applications and prospective development trends.

The objectives of education in full-time studies mode in specializations: aviation logistics, airport service management, military logistics - general technology,
air transport aim at providing graduates with knowledge of logistics issues as well as cargo and passenger service at airports and enterprises connected with aviation and based on technical sciences, social sciences and management concerning:

  • knowledge of the theoretical foundations of passenger terminals, modern logistics systems, their techniques and technologies, and the main areas of their practical applications and prospective development trends;
  • principles and methodology for design, construction, implementation and use of modern passenger service systems and aviation logistics services in various areas of its application;
  • modern scientific fields and practical disciplines related to logistics, handling and functioning of state and private aviation and the organization of the air services market;
  • procedures connected with decision making process conducted at airports
  • and by the authorities of logistics management, organizing and conducting broadly understood business cooperation in aviation activities;
  • knowledge of a foreign language at B2 proficiency level according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR), including terminology in the area of passenger service, logistics and security of aviation activities.
