Dowódca Garnizonu Warszawa gen. bryg. Tomasz Dominikowski

Brig. Gen. Dominikowski is a gradute of Higher Officers' School of Mechanized Forces, National Defence Academy and War Studies Academy. The vast majority of his military career is inextricably connected with the structures of the Warsaw Garrison Command.

He began his military service as a platoon commander in representative company of Polish Army, only to be promoted over time as the company commander. In 2002 took up the duties of the head of Department of Garrison Services in the Headquarter of the Warsaw Garrison Command. In the years 2002-2006, commander of the battalion in the Security Regiment, and for the next three years, commander of the Representative Battalion of Polish Army. Brig. Gen. Dominikowski served also as the commander of two military units that are under the command of the capital garrison: Military Training and Conditioning Center Mrągowo in years 2010 - 2012 and 10th Warsaw Trasportation Regiment in years 2012 - 2016.
 
Another career challenge he took up was the position of the head of the Training Department in the Warsaw Garrison Command. He served there until 2018, when he was promoted as the head of Provincial Military Staff in Bydgoszcz. He fulfilled this position until March 2020, when, according to the decision of Minister of National Defence, he returned to the capital to become the deputy commander of Warsaw Garrison Command. From October 1st he serves as the commander of the capital garrison. On 11th of November 2021 r. the President of the Republic of Poland promoted him to the rank of Brigadier General.
