PURPOSE AND TOPICS:

The purpose of the conference is to exchange experience and analyze contemporary and future conditions for conducting operations in the mountain environment.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE:

  • Analyze current and future conditions for conducting operations in mountainous terrain, including low temperatures.
  • Exchange experiences related to mobility and survival in mountainous environments.
  • Discuss modern technologies and innovations that can be used in mountains, both in military and civilian contexts.
  • Exchange experiences in mountain training at international training centers, Ministry of National Defense (MON) and Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) units.
  • Present procedures, changes, and experiences in uniformed services related to combat operations in mountainous environments.


OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE:

  • Conditions for conducting tactical operations in mountainous terrain and at low temperatures.
  • Mobility and survival in mountains.
  • Search and rescue operations in mountains.
  • Innovation in mountains - present and future perspectives.
  • Mountain medicine.

POST-CONFERENCE PUBLICATION:

The Scientific and Programme Committee of the Conference will recommend selected articles written in Polish or English for publication in the Scientific Journal of the Military University of Land Forces - ISSN: 2544-7122, e-ISSN: 2545-0719 - 20 pts.

The date of publication will be determined by the order in which full versions of articles are submitted and by obtaining positive reviews. 

Technical conditions for the preparation of abstracts and papers for publication in the monograph are available under ‘guidelines for authors’.

CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION FEES:

Participation in the conference is free of charge upon prior registration by submitting a registration card.

OFFICIAL CONFERENCE LANGUAGE:

English and Polish language.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS:

The organiser does not provide accommodation and meals.

CONFERENCE FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The conference is expected to include plenary sessions and training workshops. Plenary sessions will feature problem papers and speeches selected by the Chair and Scientific Committee Members. During the training workshops, there will be an opportunity to learn techniques for the use of specialised and new and innovative equipment.
