AWL representatives participated in an international academic module on the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) of the European Union.
The Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) enables the Union to play a leading role in peacekeeping operations, conflict prevention and the strengthening of international security. Drawing on civilian and military assets, it is an integral part of the EU's comprehensive approach to crisis management.

The module carried out under the EMILYO programme (an Erasmus-inspired exchange of military students) took place at the University of Turin, one of Italy's major universities.

A delegation from the AWL, consisting of Lt. Col. Piotr Pietrakowski, PhD, Aneta Kazanecka, PhD, and Maj. (res.) Gustaw Michalewski, PhD, gave thematic lectures to those attending the course and also assessed students' performance during their work in groups.
