The 56th- meeting of the Erasmus Military Implementation Group

The 56th meeting of the Erasmus Military Implementation Group called EMILYO – European Initiative for the Exchange of young officers inspired by Erasmus+ programme took place at the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia from 5 to 7 December.
The representatives of the general Tadeusz Kościuszko Military Academy of Land Forces attended the meeting: Vice-Rector for Student Affairs - Aneta Kazanecka, PhD; Head of Department of International Cooperation and Public Affairs LtC. Rafał Niedziela, PhD and chair of LoD-9 Future projects - Marta Wincewicz-Bosy, PhD.

70 representatives from 17 European countries and the United States participated in the meeting. In addition to training of newly arrived representatives of military universities, educational and training offers were presented. There were numerous meetings of individual development groups (LoD) held, at which specific solutions concerning development directions were arrived at.

The European Initiative for the Exchange of young officers inspired by Erasmus+ programme is an initiative taken by the Member States of the European Union. It is aimed at the development of the exchange programmes between the officer candidates and teachers as well as instructors (during initial education and training). The Implementation Group (IG) was established in February 2009 as a consolidation of the Academic Board of the European Security and Defence College.
