Faculty of National Security

The Faculty of National Security (WBN) of the War Studies University organises and conducts scientific research. It also offers third-level (doctoral), postgra¬duate, as well as first- and second-level studies in the field of information security and cyber security, natio¬nal security, internal security, as well as international security and diplomacy.
 
The Faculty is a leading research and didactic unit in the discipline of security studies, educating students, especially in the area of the state security system.
 
It takes up European tasks and joint initiatives with the most distinguished partners, guaranteeing conditions for studying and academic-research work that meet the highest standards through: a high-quality and innovative student-friendly didactic process; its own status in the social, political and economic life of the country; combining the possibility of individual education with the universality and elitism of studies; combining modern visions with great openness to all academic research, didactic and organisational innovations implemented within the framework of natio-nal and European frameworks.
 
An important task performed by the staff of the Faculty of National Security is to provide expert and analytical advice in the area of security and defence for public administration structures and entities conducting economic activities at home and abroad, as well as co¬operate with other universities and research centres in the implementation of scientific and didactic process. The Faculty of National Security is a key centre for the development, formation, and promotion of national strategic thought as well as for studies related to national and international security.
